Get ready…. #CanisiusGivingDay is one week away (4.25.18)! This year’s Giving Day is all about celebrating the students who call Canisius home and the people and programs that make Canisius an exceptional place.
Here’s what you need to know about #CanisiusGivingDay 2018:
The goal: 2,398 donors in 24-hours. One donor for every undergraduate student.
- This year we have six overall donor challenges, with each challenge unlocking $10,000 or more! These donor challenges are reflective of current Griffins (i.e., 1,066 in honor of the number of graduate students). View this year’s challenges!
- You are invited to celebrate with us all day on 4.25.18! Check out our on-the-go events.
- Buffalo is lightning up! In celebration of #CanisiusGivingDay, the Peace Bridge, Electric Tower, Phillips Lytle, LLP, One Seneca Tower and City Hall will light up blue and gold between 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. on 4.25.18.
- The 2018 #CanisiusGivingDay video was unveiled last week. The video highlights student responses to the question, “What does Canisius mean to you?” If you missed the video, watch it here.
- We need you to help make noise on social media leading up to and on Giving Day. Check out our Giving Day Toolkit which has graphics, sample social media content and email templates.
- Visit canisiusgivingday.com to make your Giving Day gift in support of the Canisius Fund or the area on campus that means the most to you – the leaderboards will go live at 12:00 a.m.!
