“Crossroads” Examines the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Rev. Benjamin Fiore, SJ, is this month’s guest on the April edition of “Crossroads,” which examines the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. The former professor of religious studies and theology and current pastor of St. Michael’s Jesuit Church in Buffalo joins the program to share the history of the initial announcement of the resurrection in the New Testament (I Corinthians 15). Father Fiore also informs listeners of the roles of Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea in the burial of Jesus, the presence of women at the crucifixion and the post-resurrection appearances of Jesus.

“Crossroads” is a monthly radio program produced by the Network of Religious Communities and is hosted by Rev. Patrick Lynch, SJ, professor of religious studies and theology. It airs on the first Sunday of each month at 6:00 a.m. on MIX-96 (96.1 FM) and at 6:30 a.m. on JACK-FM (92.9).
