The Canisius Music Scholars, an organization consisting of students who are recipients of music scholarships at the college, presented a concert on Friday, March 16 at the Montante Cultural Center. The performance consisted of a varied program of popular and classical music to benefit the City Mission and raised enough money to cover more than 100 meals for individuals who use the services of the Buffalo City Mission.

#CanisiusGivingDay is Coming

On Wednesday, April 25, the Canisius Community will once again come together to make a collective impact for our students. This year’s Giving Day will celebrate the students who live and learn at 2001 Main Street by striving to reach a goal of 2,398 donors in 24 hours. That equals one donor for every undergraduate student.

We need your help to make Giving Day 2018 a success. Please consider signing on as a Giving Day Ambassador and help us spread the word about #CanisiusGivingDay! You can sign up by completing our  Giving Day Ambassador form or by emailing Kim Walkow at walkowk@canisius.edu.

What is a Giving Day Ambassador?
Giving Day Ambassadors have a simple, yet very important mission – spread the word about #CanisiusGivingDay!

What do Ambassadors do?
Spread the word about #CanisiusGivingDay via social media and email.  Wondering what to post? We’ve got you covered! Giving Day Ambassadors will have access to our Ambassador Toolkit, which provides easily customizable, click and paste social media posts and graphics, as well as a communication timeline (we’ll send you reminder emails along the way, too). Giving Day Ambassadors help build the #CanisiusGivingDay movement through actively sharing and recruiting new Giving Day Ambassadors and encouraging others to participate in and donate on Giving Day.

Thank you so much for helping to make #CanisusGivingDay 2018 the most impactful yet! Together WE CAN, again!
