Student aid programs, which make college more affordable for all students, need your help! State leaders have proposed eliminating a program called Bundy Aid that provides financial aid to students at nearly every independent college in New York, including Canisius. They have also proposed cutting funding for opportunity programs like HEOP, STEP/C-STEP and the Liberty Partnerships Program, which are critical for ensuring underrepresented students have the chance to pursue their college dreams.

Please help us rally to restore these student aid funds by participating in our e-advocacy campaign!

Participation is simple and will only take a few minutes. Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Click here to visit our e-advocacy campaign page.
  2. Input your campus address (using your campus address rather than your home address will ensure your message is heard by the policymakers who represent our campus).
  3. Personalize the pre-written email by identifying yourself as a student, faculty, staff, alumni, parent, trustee or other supporter of Canisius College who cares about student aid.
  4.             Fill in the short form
  5.             Click submit

Once you hit submit, your email will be automatically sent to the policymakers who represent our campus, as well as other key state leaders who are making state budget decisions that will impact student aid for our campus.
