Help for Faculty using D2L

Learn how to save time

The Center for Online Learning & Innovation supports faculty using D2L, our learning management system.

If you are new to D2L or if you’ve used it just for the basics, come to Old Main 119 tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19 at 3:00 p.m. to learn how it can benefit you and your students.  In this introductory workshop for faculty, we’ll look at some ways professors can use D2L’s features to save time in course preparation, instruction, managing assignments and quizzes, and communicating with students.  Also, don’t forget our self-paced training resources that you can revisit any time.

As fall 2017 courses come to an end, many faculty are already preparing their spring 2018 courses.  Here’s a quick video from the Center for Online Learning and Innovation with tips for setting up your upcoming courses in D2L, including merging sections for the spring 2018 semester.

And here’s COLI’s handy checklist for end of/beginning of semester tasks in Desire2Learn.

Just after the spring 2018 semester, D2L is getting a new look!  See our sneak preview!
