Time for Wednesday’s Basketball Game Has Changed
Tip Off is Now 1 p.m.
The game time for the women’s basketball game on Wednesday vs. Cornell has been switched from a 7 p.m. start to a 1 p.m. tip off at the Koessler Athletic Center. Tickets remain $5.00 for fans of all ages. Canisius students are admitted at no cost with an ID. Fans with tickets for Wednesday’s game who cannot attend the 1 p.m. tip off can redeem their ticket(s) at the Koessler Athletic Center ticket office for any future women’s basketball game.
Canisius was 1-1 on the young season prior to playing at Bowling Green on Sunday afternoon. Cornell is 0-3 going into this evening’s home game versus Lehigh.

Sew REDI to Sell Products for Small Business Saturday
Start your holiday shopping and support resettled refugees
On Small Business Saturday, November 25 from 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Sew REDI Buffalo will sell products at Ashker’s Juice Bar located at 1002 Elmwood Avenue. Items include key fobs, wine bottle gift bags, zipper pouches, totes and purses. All products are handcrafted by resettled refugees in Buffalo. Sew REDI Buffalo presents products in three fabric collections: Buffalo-themed fabrics, authentic ethnic fabrics and upcycled fabrics (creative reuse of unwanted materials).
Sew REDI, a project started by Canisius ENACTUS students, serves resettled refugees in Buffalo. It is supported entirely by volunteers and refugee clients keep 100 percent of profit from sales of their products.
So, if you are out and about on Small Business Saturday and looking for something unique, come support resettled refugees and the service of Canisius students.

TIAA on Campus in December
Discuss retirement goals
Greg Tedone, financial consultant for TIAA, will be on campus Thursday, December 7 in Science Hall 1017 for individual counseling sessions. He will meet with individuals to review and discuss current investments, answer questions and review options to help meet retirement goals.

Watch the November Episode of Kaleidoscope
Program celebrates religious diversity
The Canisius College Video Institute production of the November episode of “Kaleidoscope” premiered Saturday, November 4 at 5:30 a.m. on WGRZ-TV 2. This 30-minute television program celebrates the religious diversity of our region and is produced in conjunction with the Network of Religious Communities. “Kaleidoscope” rebroadcasts each Friday at 6:30 p.m. on Spectrum Cable Channel 20 and each Sunday at 8:00 p.m. on Spectrum Channel 6 in Olean, NY.
In the first segment, host Stan Bratton, PhD, talks with Talvir Singh, secretary of the Gurdwaras Sahib, and Amarjit Singh, MD, a surgeon with Buffalo Medical Group, about the essential beliefs of Sikhism, Guru Nanak and the Sikh community in Western New York.
In the second segment, Dr. Bratton talks with Michael Martin, executive director of the Native American Communities Services of Erie and Niagara Counties, about the history, culture, traditions and spiritual beliefs of the Haudenosaunee.
Students in the Canisius College Video Institute produce “Kaleidoscope” under the guidance of Jamie O’Neil, associate professor of digital media arts and co-director of the Video Institute, and Paula DeAngelis-Stein ’86, MS ’02, a producer with Daybreak Productions, the broadcast arm of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.
