Reading Rainbow creator Tony Buttino and his wife, Sue (center), visited Dr. Barbara Irwin’s COM 385 – Media & Children class to talk about the history and development of the children’s reading motivation series that aired on PBS for 26 years. Buttino brought one of the five Emmy Awards he earned as executive producer of the series.
