The Canisius College Department of Athletics is offering discounted season tickets for all faculty and staff. A reserved season ticket for hockey, which includes 17 home games is only $100 (less than $6 per game). A reserved seat for all home men’s basketball games, plus a general admission ticket for all home women’s games is just $125. A regular hockey season ticket lists at $150 ($50 savings for faculty/staff), while a basketball season pass is normally sold for $220 ($95 savings for faculty/staff). The regular season opener for hockey is less than a month away (October 13) when the Griffs unfurl their league championship banner before the team hosts Robert Morris. The schedule includes home games with Clarkson, Colgate, Niagara and NCAA participant Air Force.
The women’s basketball team opens its season on November 10 against Colgate. They host Bona five days later. The men open the home portion of their slate on November 18 when Youngstown State pays a visit to the KAC. Canisius also hosts Bona and Niagara as part of their 13 game home schedule.
