Faculty, staff, students, alumni and their families are invited to join Campus Ministry and the Buffalo Burrito Project on Tuesday, July 25.

groupThe Burrito Project is a ministry of hospitality and provides homemade burritos to the homeless and marginalized population in downtown Buffalo. This ministry serves some of God’s most vulnerable and forgotten children.

Burritos will be prepared in the Undercroft (basement) of Christ the King Chapel from 6:15  – 7:15 p.m. From 7:15 – 8:45 p.m. the group will walk a four-mile route serving burritos, snacks and drinks. A college van follows as participants walk.  (Please note time change. We ask you to arrive in the Chapel at 6:15 p.m. and not 6:00 p.m., as the new times better serves those in need).

You may choose to just prepare the burritos, prepare and serve or just serve. Most people do both.

To sign up or for more information, please email Joe Van Volkenburg in Campus Ministry vanvolkj@canisus.edu or call Ext. 2875.
