Kevin Hardwick, PhD, associate professor of political science, sat down with WIVB-TV, Channel 4 reporter Luke Moretti to discuss the fake news phenomenon. Hardwick believes that President Trump is the first to put a name to fake news.
Moretti also interviewed Cindy Skrzycki ’76, senior lecturer in the English Department at the University of Pittsburgh and David Shribman, Pulitzer Prize-winning editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Both Skrzycki and Shribman spoke at the Fitzpatrick Lecture in April about discerning truth from untruth in the media.
