On Friday, May 12, the Canisius women’s lacrosse team will take on Boston College in the first round of the 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship. The Golden Griffins will meet the Eagles at 4:00 p.m., in Syracuse. The winner of Friday’s game will take on No. 6 seed Syracuse on Sunday, May 14 at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets for Friday’s game are available for purchase at the gate. Tickets cost $8 for adults, $5 for students with valid school IDs and children under 12. For fans who can’t make the trip to Syracuse on Friday, the game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

The Griffs earned their sixth MAAC Championship in seven years by defeating Fairfield 13-10 last Sunday. Junior Erica Evans was named the MAAC Championship MVP for the second-straight year after she scored six goals and four assists in the title game.
