The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is pleased to announce the new chemistry with business concentration degree that will be available starting in fall 2017.
Chemical industries comprise the largest manufacturing sector in the U.S. (as measured by GDP) and encompass pharmaceutical, agricultural, petrochemical, manufacturing chemicals and consumer products. In addition to employment as chemists in traditional chemical industries, chemistry and biochemistry graduates have careers in a broad range of areas including intellectual property, law, environmental policy, sales and marketing. The chemistry with business degree will help prepare our graduates to enter a broader range of career paths.
