Physical and health education teacher education (PHETE) majors presented at the Western Zone New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYS AHPERD) monthly meeting on Monday, April 24.

Four students from Clancy Seymour’s assessment in physical education course presented two sessions to the group. Alex Goewey ’18 and Dan Towle MS ’17 delivered Spikeball Smackdown and Annie Draves ’18 and Ben Valentine MS ’17 presented Winning Games with Limited Equipment. The experience provided PHETE majors the opportunity to share new strategies with more than 15 physical and health education professionals from the Western New York area in attendance.
