For the second year, Canisius will host the Be the Light Youth Theology Institute from July 10 – 15. The institute features service / immersion experiences, academic instruction and faith-sharing / reflection. Plus plenty of food!
Recent growth in Buffalo has caused this “City of Light” to start shining brighter and brighter. But where in our city does this light need to shine even more? Where are the dark corners of injustice in our city that call out for our response? How do the Catholic faith and Jesuit spirituality inform approaches to understanding and rectifying such injustices? Participants will be exploring these questions and more with Canisius faculty, staff, alumni and undergraduate leaders.
