E. Christine Moll, PhD, chair of the counseling and human services department, and Holly Fetter, PhD, associate professor of counseling and human services, presented at the American Counseling Association’s (ACA) 2017 Conference and Expo in San Francisco, CA on March 16 and 17.

Moll’s presentation focused on common ethical dilemmas that are presented when working with adults across the lifespan.

Fetter assisted in a presentation by alumnus Michael Lillis ’15. The presentation, “Assessing the refugee student crisis: examining the responsibilities of counselors,” discussed how refugees are placed in schools, mental health screening requirements, and how counselors can advocate on behalf of refugee students.
