Physical and health education teacher education (PHETE) students attended the Western New York Physical Education Consortium on Monday, February 13 in Amherst.  The local workshop featured presentations on how to utilize orienteering, geocaching, dance and technology in K-12 physical education.

The workshop was hosted by PHETE and Differentiated Instruction alumnus Kiel Illg, ’07, MSED ’09, PhD, director of health and physical education and athletics at Amherst Central School District. More than 40 physical and health education professionals attended.
