Reserved seats for the Battle of the Bridge doubleheader against Niagara on Friday, February 10 are selling quickly. The Canisius women will look for a sweep of their annual series against the Purple Eagles with a 5:30 p.m. tip, while the men will look to even their annual two-game battle against Niagara at 8:00 p.m. (Note: these are time changes from the original schedule, which had the games posted at 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.)
Canisius leads the annual Canal Cup competition 11-5, with 11 more points up for grabs over the next 10 days.
There are some additional general admission tickets left, as well, however those are expected to go quickly once students receive their seats Wednesday, February 8. Faculty and staff receive reduced price tickets when presenting a valid college ID. Call 888-TIXX to reserve seats now or stop by the Koessler Athletic Center (KAC) box office, which opens at 10:00 a.m. daily.
If you’re looking for a reasonably priced meal, the Griffin’s Den opens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Buffet dinners are $10 each with an additional $4 for an adult beverage. The Griffin’s Den is open to the public and is located in the Patrick Lee Center on game nights.
