It’s a battle among the Atlantic Hockey elite this weekend as your first-place Golden Griffins host fourth-place Army West Point in a conference showdown. Canisius is riding the wave of an eight-game unbeaten streak that has propelled them to the top of the conference. Meanwhile, Army, who swept the Griffs earlier in the year, is tied for the fourth and final home playoff spot.

Friday, February 3 is Military Appreciation Night. Two complimentary tickets will be given to fans who display a valid military ID. There is also a free open skate event at Canalside for all students from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Game time is 7:35 p.m. Puck drop for the game on Saturday, February 4 is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.

The two teams feature great goaltending with Charles Williams (1.88 GAA) guarding the pipes for the Griffs and Williamsville native Parker Gahagen (1.84 GAA) minding the nets for the Black Knights.

Please note, due to a Harlem Globetrotters exhibition game at KeyBank Center on Friday , the ramp parking prices will be elevated. The Buffalo Sabres play Saturday evening, so expect congestion leaving the HARBORCENTER. The subway is always a great option.
