The deadline for nominations for the 2017, Dr. I. Joan Lorch Awards is extended until Tuesday, February 7. The three categories for nomination include: Canisius Colleague, (any member of the faculty, administration or staff who currently works at Canisius), Canisius Student (any student currently enrolled at Canisius) and Community Award (anyone, anywhere who fulfills the award criteria ― usually someone from the Buffalo area, but not required).
The Dr. I. Joan Lorch Award for Women and Gender Studies honors a person who has made a significant contribution to women, and who exemplifies the pursuit of liberation and justice regarding sex, gender and sexuality.
