Assistant Professor of English Marshelle Woodward, PhD, received the 2016 Tony Hilfer Prize for best essay by Texas Studies in Literature and Language, (TSLL) for her essay “Paradox Regained: Reconsidering Thomas Browne’s Double Hermeneutics.”
Published by the University of Texas Press, TSLL is an established journal of literary criticism, which publishes substantial essays reflecting a variety of critical approaches and covering all periods of literary history.
