How Do Gorillas See the World?

Team Ape and the Institute for Autism Research are collaborating on a project to study eye-tracking in gorillas at the Buffalo Zoo.  With the use of eye-tracking technology, the gorillas will be presented with different images to explore the ways in which they see and respond to their world.

The overarching goal of this project is to determine visual processing patterns in the gorillas and expand our understanding of how they see their world.  Through the crowdfunding platform www.experiment.com/how_Gorillas_see, we are working towards purchasing the equipment needed to start this project.
