Marks Picture“I enjoy being part of the faculty at Canisius because once a Griff always a Griff! Working with the students who have a career path similar to mine is very rewarding.” – Mark A. Warner

Mark Warner ’84 has been a dedicated adjunct in the Kinesiology Department for the past 16 years.  As an alumnus of the program and a practicing teacher, Mark brings a wealth of insight to his courses.  Always one to inject humor into real life experiences, Mark is respected by faculty and the students for his ability to motivate – whether it’s during a ropes teambuilding course or in the classroom.  The Kinesiology Department and its students are indebted to Mark for his enthusiastic dedication to alma mater and his excellence in the instruction of future professionals in education.

Mark is currently a physical education teacher at Hamburg Middle School, a post he’s held for the past 26 years.

Did you know… Canisius is a family tradition for the Warners. Mark ’84 and his wife Maryann ’82 were married in Christ the King Chapel in 1985. They have a son, Dan, and two daughters, Jessica ’13 and Kristen ’14.
