RHA’s Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

The annual Residence Hall Association (RHA) Thanksgiving Sit-Down Dinner will take place on Thursday, November 17 in the Economou Dining Hall.

Seating will rotate continuously from 4:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. In keeping with tradition, we are asking the Canisius College faculty, staff, administrators and alumni to assist us in serving dinner to the students.

We believe that this event, our largest of the fall semester, brings our Canisius family closer together by uniting staff and students for a festive Thanksgiving dinner.

If you are interested in serving dinner, please contact Patrick Burke by email at Burke64@canisius.edu by Thursday, November 10, so we can prepare a list of volunteers.

On behalf of the students of Canisius’ RHA, I hope that you will choose to participate in this event and help make it successful, exciting and enjoyable for the Canisius community.

D2L Course Retention Policy

On Friday, November 18, ITS will remove all summer 2011 courses from Desire2Learn.

D2L Course Retention Policy

Canisius College follows the recommendation of the Association of Registrars to retain gradebooks for a period of five years. D2L courses will be deleted after a period of five years.

  • If you are a course instructor, please follow the guidelines on the Start/End Course Checklist to save a copy of your course and a copy of your gradebook. This should be done at the end of each semester.
  • If you are a student, please make sure you save your uploaded files and any course files you wish to retain.

For both of these purposes, we recommend Google Drive.
