The first Informally-Formal Chamber Recital as part of the Canisius and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) Connection Series is this Tuesday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. These recitals provide an intimate setting where BPO musicians share their favorite chamber works through stories and music.
This performance features the BPO’s principal clarinetist John Fullam, cellist Robert Hausmann and pianist Claudia Hoca in a program of works by Claude Debussy, Robert Schumann, Ernest Bloch and Stephen Sondheim as well as a work by Persis Parshall Vehar, Canisius College’s now retired Composer-in-Residence.
Individual concert tickets for this series are $15 general admission, $7 students and can be purchased through the Canisius College Fine Arts Office, 716-888-2542 or online at www.canisius.edu/artscanisius-tickets.
