The Montante Cultural Center was packed as a taste of Hollywood came to Canisius on Friday night. Guests walked the red carpet and posed for “glam shots” before the Canisius premiere of “Dream, Girl.”
Erin Bagwell ’09, a graduate of the digital media arts program and an alumna of the Video Institute, produced and directed the nationally-acclaimed documentary which chronicles the inspiring stories of female entrepreneurs. She was on hand for the premiere, along with her co-producer, Komal Minhas. Following the screening, the pair hosted a question-and-answer session and a reception was held.
WIVB-TV Channel 4 interviewed Bagwell earlier in the day and ran a story about “Dream, Girl” on its 4 p.m. newscast. Watch the story here.
