Join Canisius College’s art history program and ArtsCanisius as they welcome Claire Schneider, founder of CS1 Curatorial Projects, who will speak on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at noon in Regis Room South. The lecture, entitled “Curator as Forager, Caretaker, Incubator,” will involve Schneider’s experiences as a curator of contemporary art.

Her distinguished career as an associate curator for 10 years at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and as the senior curator at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art for two years, brought her back to Buffalo as she began to organize traveling exhibits and installations.  Schneider will discuss upcoming projects, including “Full Circle” and Nick Cave’s “Plenty.”  The lecture is free and open to the public.
