Red Thread Theatre performs “Louisiana Bacchae,” a play by Robert Waterhouse, now through Saturday, October 8. Red Thread Theatre is the production company of Canisius College Theatre Artist- in-Residence Eileen Dugan, who acts in the play along with Christian Brandjes, Greg Howze, Geoff Pictor and Harold White.
Voodoo and vengeance descend on a small Louisiana town in this raucous reworking of the Euripides tragedy, set in current day America. Due to the nature of the performance, no one under 18 will be admitted.
Performances will be held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, at 8:00 p.m. at the Jim Bush Studios, 44 17th Street, Buffalo. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $15 for seniors and $10 for students.
