k-dronposterwebJoin the Digital Media Arts Program and Permanent Chair of Polish Culture at Canisius College for a lecture entitled K-dron: The Geometric Bridge Between Art and Science on Thursday, September 29 at 6:00 p.m. in Lyons Hall, Room 418.

Janusz Kapusta, PhD, is a Polish artist living in Brooklyn, NY who has an interest in mathematics and philosophy. In 1985, Kapusta discovered K-dron, a three-dimensional geometrical shape that emerged from his drawings exploring the nature of infinity.

In this lecture, Kapusta will present K-dron’s many unique properties, applications and its placement in the universe of pure geometric forms. More information about the artist can be found at www.januszkapusta.com.
