The Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) is offering an online course development workshop beginning Monday, September 19 with an introductory webinar scheduled for Friday, September 16. The workshop is designed for those looking to teach online or hybrid courses at Canisius College. This session of the workshop will be led by COLI faculty fellow Dennis Mike, PhD.
This six-week, virtual workshop guides instructors through the online course and online content creation process. Attendance is highly encouraged for those who intend to teach fully online, blended or hybrid courses – especially in the fall (term II) and spring semesters.
Mike has been teaching literacy education and instructional technology courses at the higher education level since 1991. Since coming to Canisius as an associate professor in 2009, he teaches almost exclusively online and the focus of his recent scholarly work is also in this area.
This workshop is not limited to faculty. If you are an interested staff member, we also welcome your participation!
