Canisius Student Wins Wing Eating Contest

Congratulations to Jason Brick ’19 who won first place in the College Wing Eating Competition at the Buffalo Wing Festival on Sunday, September 4.

President’s Convocation Today

You are cordially invited to attend President John J. Hurley’s annual President’s Convocation on Wednesday, September 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.

This event marks a special coming together among our campus community at the onset of the fall semester to hear from the president about the state of the college.  He will discuss the college’s new strategic plan, Canisius 150: Excellence, Leadership, Jesuit and discuss some of the strategies the college will undertake in the months and years ahead.

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.  If you are unable to be there, President Hurley’s remarks will be posted to the Canisius website.  Light refreshments will follow his address.

Training Sessions About Canisius

The Office of Enrollment Management is conducting Canisius College training sessions. We would like to extend a warm invitation to all members of the campus community to attend.

The purpose of the event is to provide comprehensive training on Canisius College through brief presentations of academic and non-academic program offerings at the institution. This will assist community members representing the college in student recruitment, athletic recruitment, institutional advancement and provide general campus knowledge.

Canisius College Training Schedule:

Wednesday, September 7: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Regis Room North

Friday, September 9: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Grupp Fireside Lounge
