nf-workman-2016-spotlightMiranda K. Workman, MS ’14, now serves as clinical assistant professor in the Animal Behavior, Ecology and Conservation (ABEC) program. Workman previously served as an adjunct professor in the program and is recognized at Canisius as the face behind “Kittens on Campus.”

Workman’s course offerings include Animal Learning and Assessing Animals. In addition, she manages the internship program for both ABEC and anthrozoology. She plans to pursue research focused on animal shelter-based issues and human decision-making processes about non-human animals. Workman received her MS in anthrozoology from Canisius College and is currently pursuing her doctorate in sociology at the University at Buffalo.
