Workman Authors Chapter in New Textbook

Miranda Workman, clinical assistant professor of animal behavior, ecology and conservation, authored a chapter in a recently published textbook. Companion Animals in Everyday Life: Situating Human-Animal Engagement within Cultures (Palgrave MacMillan, 2016) sheds light on human-animal relationships and interactions around the world. Workman’s chapter is entitled “Perceptions of Personality: How What We See Influences Our Perceptions About and Behavior Toward Companion Animals.”

Canisius College Concert Band Needs You!

Registration for the Canisius College Concert Band is now open. Both zero- and-one-credit classes are available (FAM-175 and FAM 185).

Concert band meets every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. No auditions required!
