The Army ROTC Department starts the new school year by welcoming Major Daniel J. Gross as the Chair of the Department of Military Science.  Army ROTC is designed to augment the college experience and is one of two ways for a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree to also work towards becoming a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard.

The ROTC Department offers a total of nine courses, four of which are open to all full-time students to explore the opportunities that military service offers without incurring a military obligation. Students can register for the ROTC MLS 101 – Introduction to the Army and Critical Thinking Course and ROTC MLS 201 – Foundations in Leadership Course until add/drop.

For further information contact: rotc1@canisius.edu or at Ext. 3239
