Help Desk Fall Hours

The ITS Help Desk will have fall hours for the first two weeks of the semester. Beginning on Monday, August 29 through Friday, September 9 the Help Desk will be available Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Starting on Monday, September 12, the Help Desk will commence with usual hours, Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Faculty Resources for D2L and other Teaching Technologies

d2l_logo18The new Center for Online Learning & Innovation (COLI) offers plenty of resources to help faculty prepare to teach in the upcoming fall semester. During the next few weeks several Desire2Learn workshops are offered, both on campus and online (via web conference).

  • D2L Kickstarter (On campus, OM 115) 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30
  • D2L: Gradebook (Online, via Zoom) 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31
  • D2L: Gradebook (On campus, OM 115) 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1
  • D2L: Gradebook (Online, via Zoom) 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 14

This semester COLI has an expanded range of classroom workshops and live trainings on D2L as well as other learning and scholarly technologies, including Google Apps (Drive,) Google Cardboard, WordPress and Qualtrics.  To register for workshops visit our Training Calendar.

United Way Event

Come join the United Way Kick Off event on Monday, September 19 from 2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Grupp Fireside Lounge.

A guest speaker from the United Way Agency will be in attendance.


Refreshments will be provided. The event is sponsored by the United Way Planning Committee.
