Women’s Business Center Hosts “Financing & Funding Opportunities for Minority and Women Owned Enterprises”

The Women’s Business Center is hosting “Financing & Funding Opportunities for MWBEs” on Thursday, August 18 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The workshop is for any woman-owned businesses that are already certified or pending certification.  Local, state and federal governments are focusing on supporting women- and minority-owned businesses through contracting goals.  Learn how you can utilize your certification to gain business growth through these government contracts!

This workshop will be held at LP Ciminelli, 2421 Main Street, Buffalo. The fee for the workshop is $10.

Save the Date: 48th Annual Business Awards Dinner

The Richard J. Wehle School of Business and its Business Advisory Council announced that the 48th Annual Business Awards Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens. Cocktails will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The Business Executive of the Year Award will be conferred on Mark J. Czarnecki MBA ‘91, president and chief operating officer of M&T Bank.  Lawrence T. McGowan ’70, MBA ’85, president of Arbor Capital Management, will receive the Dr. Bernard L. Martin Award.
