The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry held its second annual Summer Research Symposium on Wednesday, July 27 in Horan O’Donnell. More than 80 students, alumni, family members, faculty and administrators attended.

Each summer, Canisius students work with the faculty on a variety of projects spanning the chemical disciplines. This year, 17 Canisius students presented posters describing results from their research carried out under the guidance of the chemistry and biochemistry faculty. Details about specific departmental research projects can be found here.

After the symposium, all in attendance continued their conversations during a picnic on the Koessler Plaza.
