Faculty, staff, family members and students are invited to join the Office of Campus Ministry and the Buffalo Burrito Project on Tuesday, June 28 and Tuesday, July 26.
The Burrito Project is a ministry of hospitality and provides home-made burritos to the marginalized and homeless population in downtown Buffalo. This ministry serves some of God’s most vulnerable and forgotten children.
Burritos will be prepared in the kitchen located in the undercroft of Christ the King Chapel from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. From 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., the group will walk a four-mile route and serve burritos, snacks and cold drinks. A college van follows the team as we walk.
You may choose to help prepare the burritos, prepare and serve or just serve. Most people prepare and serve.
