A team of 19 Canisius students are preparing to head off on an annual medical mission trip to Nicaragua and Costa Rica. The students will be traveling from May 23 – June 6. The group just received word from the in-country coordinators that access to children’s vitamins is their greatest challenge right now. About 20-30 vitamins are typically prescribed in addition to other medications to help prevent children from contracting common ailments including parasites and strep throat.

If you would like to contribute a bottle of children’s vitamins, donations will gladly be accepted until the groups’ departure on May 23.
