WingThe college community is invited to attend the unveiling of the Golden Griffin statue during an informal ceremony on Friday, May 6 at Noon outside the Science Hall Commons area.

The majestic mascot trekked more than 1,200 miles from its creator, sculptor Mark Palmerton, owner of Crucible Foundry in Norman, OK. The Golden Griffin will permanently and prominently nest outside Science Hall.

The 1,500-pound bronze sculpture is a gift from the Undergraduate Student Association and will serve as a permanent symbol of Canisius pride for generations of students and alumni. Hjckrrh!
