Unlimited Google Drive Storage for Faculty and Staff

gafecanisiuslogoIn the past, you may have created a Google Drive space on your own, using your Canisius email address commonly called “Outlook” or “Exchange” accounts for faculty and staff instead of the usual “Gmail” address provided with Google accounts. ITS can supply you with a new Google Drive space featuring unlimited storage and special sharing options for working with students, under the Google Apps for Education Program. Contact Mark Gallimore at gallimom@canisius.edu to get an upgraded Google Drive space (and other Google tools) attached to your @canisius.edu address. After this is done, your old Google Drive space will be attached to a new Gmail address (that you create), and will still contain all your previous files.

If you haven’t created a Google account on your own using your @canisius.edu email address but would like an account featuring Google Drive, YouTube, or other Google Apps, that is linked to your Canisius email, contact Mark at gallimom@canisius.edu to obtain one. These resources will be particularly handy to have when attending our upcoming Google Apps for Education Summit on August 4 and 5!
