The song, “Not So Different,” is a new version of a song originally recorded by singer-songwriter Cassandra Kubinski in 2013 and features John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, Mary Ramsey from 10,000 Maniacs and Kubinski. The project is the brainchild of famed music producer Armand Petri, who thought the song would provide a useful vehicle to shine a light on the need for additional autism research. Petri’s son, AJ, is autistic and has benefited from the IAR’s programs.

More than $25,000 was raised for the IAR at the Artists for Autism concert on April 16. The artists performed to a sold-out crowd at Buffalo State Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall.
