Following a thrilling 3-1 win over the University at Buffalo in 12 innings Wednesday afternoon, your Canisius baseball team returns to conference play this weekend with Iona coming to town. The Griffs and Gaels will start an hour earlier than usual on Saturday, April 23 with the first pitch scheduled for game one at 11:00 a.m. Game two starts 30 minutes after game one. The single-game on Sunday, April 24 will begin at noon.
Canisius is locked in a three-way tie for second place at the halfway point of the conference season. The Griffs trail league-leading Fairfield by 1/2 a game for the top seed.
