This year’s Google for Education Summit will be held at Canisius College from August 4-5. This two-day high-intensity event focuses on deploying, integrating and using Google Apps for Education (and other Google tools) to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education.
Sessions will include two keynote presentations, a demo slam competition and a closing capstone session – plus two full days of informative breakouts, cutting-edge demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Each will be led by experienced and knowledgeable professional developers and local educators.
As the host school, Canisius receives a select number of tickets. If you are a faculty member who is interested in implementing Google Apps for Education in your teaching, we encourage you to fill out this short form to express your interest in attending. Individuals will be selected on a first come, first serve basis: http://goo.gl/forms/NI3jdTYT32
A call for presenters will be promoted in the coming months. Additionally, please help promote the event to external K-12 and higher education groups.
