The last Informally-Formal Chamber Recital of the 2015-16 season is this Tuesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. This program features Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) oboist and English hornist, Anna Mattix performing with pianist Susan Schuman. They will perform works by Telemann, Ravel and Dutilleaux.
The program will close with a performance of works for oboe quartet and will feature some instruments you don’t see every day, with Henry Ward playing oboe; Brian Greene playing oboe d’amore, Anna Mattix on English Horn; and David Free playing bass oboe.
Tickets for this concert are $15 general admission and $7 for students. As always, these programs include coffee, tea and pastries for you to enjoy during the performance.
