You Are Invited To A Wellness Forum!

Thank you to all who participated in the Wellness Survey. As part of our ongoing commitment to faculty and staff wellness across our campus community, the Human Resources Department will host a Wellness Forum on March 9, 2016 in Regis South from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. and again from 2:00 – 2:30 p.m.

We will discuss the results of the Wellness Survey and future wellness initiatives scheduled in 2016 through the GrifFit program here at Canisius College.

All faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Western New York Regional History Day

Canisius College and Niagara Frontier Council for Social Studies will host the 2016 Western New York Regional History Day Competition on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  Canisius College adolescence education history students, along with professor Lorrei DiCamillo, PhD, will participate as judges and moderators for local high school students as they compete in debates and show off display projects. Top-finishers of each event will to move on to the national level competition.  The Canisius College School of Education and Nancy Wallace, PhD, director of school and community partnerships, have graciously hosted this group for several years.

All faculty and Canisius College students are welcome to attend.

WNY Writing Project to Host Workshops at Canisius

The Western New York Writing Project and Canisius College will host two summer writing workshops from July 11 – 22, 2016.  The Young Writer’s camp will run from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and the Teen Writing Camp will be from 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. daily.   The registration form along with payment will automatically register your child for this camp and a confirmation will be issued if you supply an email address.  Children of Canisius College employees receive a $50 discount.
