Canisius Vice President for Academic Affairs, Margaret C. McCarthy, PhD, appointed Daniel J. Borgia, PhD, dean of the Richard J. Wehle School of Business. Borgia brings with him to the position nearly two decades of higher education experience. He is currently associate dean and professor of finance for the College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the University of Idaho. In this role, he oversaw a significant and challenging update of the CBE’s curriculum to insure sustainability and to increase its flexibility and relevancy. He also served as the primary author of the college’s AACSB accreditation report, which led to its successful AACSB reaccreditation under the new 2013 standards.
