There will be plenty of action in the Koessler Athletic Center this weekend as your Golden Griffin men’s basketball team hosts a pair of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference games.
On Friday, February 5, Canisius hosts league power Iona at 7:00 p.m. It’s also Petey’s birthday with a massive celebration planned at the Patrick Lee Center from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The first 400 students and faculty into the game, from the party, will receive a coupon for a free pillowcase. The pillowcase, featuring Petey, will be distributed at the end of the game. Please note, you must attend the party to have an opportunity to get a free pillowcase.
On Super Bowl Sunday, the Griffs meet Rider at 3:00 p.m. Sticking with the football theme, all fans will be eligible to win an autographed football from Bills great Darryl Talley and two Super Bowl 50 caps from New Era. Students can win Super Bowl 50 hoodies and one lucky student will be heading home with a 42″ TV. To win, a student needs to have the BlueGoldWin app.
