Several large media outlets reported on Mike Noonan’s recently released research on beluga whales.
The Huffington Post, Science Daily and Science World Report all ran stories about the research, which provides insight as to why belugas blow bubbles. In addition, Discover
Magazine and “Daily Planet,” part of Discovery Channel Canada, also interviewed Noonan for upcoming features on his research.
Mike Noonan, PhD, is chair of the ABEC program at Canisius. He collaborated on his research with Deb Burhans, PhD, associate professor of computer science, and Elizabeth George ’15.
