ComDoc will be on campus starting Tuesday, December 8 to install new printers across campus. The installation schedule should conclude by the end of January. The first printers to be installed will be in administrative offices and new public spaces. Academic offices and labs will not be affected until after exams are completed. A complete list of publicly available printers and instructions will be available on the campus wiki here.
All of the new printers will utilize the FollowMe print model that will allow users to retrieve their printouts at any printer on campus. Users will be required to use their Canisius College ID card to swipe and release their print jobs. The enhanced security and flexibility offered by the new print services are just some of the new features to be introduced. Mobil printing will also be available soon. Users will then be able to print from tablets and mobile phones.
