Janet McNally, assistant professor of English, was presented with one of Business First’s 40 Under 40 Awards on Thursday, November 5. Her works of poetry and fiction were highlighted during the awards ceremony. Several members of the Canisius community attended the ceremony to celebrate her success including Margaret McCarthy, PhD, vice president, academic affairs; Mark Hodin, PhD, chair, English department; Eric Gansworth, professor, English and creative writing; Kathleen DeLaney, archivist and reference librarian; and Sara Morris, PhD, associate vice president, academic affairs.

Janet was particularly pleased to share the evening with several of her current students including Aryanna Falkner ’17, English and creative writing; Darby Ratliff ’16, English and creative writing; and Elizabeth Sawka ’16, English and creative writing.
